Have you heard of "La madeleine de Proust"? For me, cookies are my "madeleine de Proust." This phrase comes from the famous book "A la Recherche du Temps Perdu" by French author Marcel Proust. In it, the narrator takes a bite of a madeleine, a traditional French pastry, and is flooded with memories from his past.
Since I was a child, I have always been fascinated by the magic that cookies can evoke. The simple act of baking cookies can bring joy and comfort to people, and I want to share this joy with everyone.
